Who We Are

Safe Spaces is a service for youth up to 26 years of age who identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, two spirit, queer or questioning and their allies. A youth-driven, drop in group meets once a week in a space that offers a resource library, sketch pads & other art supplies, a wii, dvd's, board games and several comfortable couches!  A coordinator is available for one to one appointments as required and attends all group functions.  Safe Spaces also provides workshops and presentations in Kamloops and surrounding communities.

Safe Spaces is a Youth Program of Interior Community Services, B.C.  Our funding is provided by Ministry of Children and Family Development - Child and Youth Mental Health.
